I start my perfect day hiking down Valverde mountain through the psychedelic tunnel to Cala Blanca. If there’s been summer rain, I visit the hidden waterfall near Sant Mateu and hug the island’s Great Pine. Lunch is Bullit de Peix at Pou d’es Lleó. I paint abstract art poolside at the Mondrian listening to Pure Ibiza Radio, then unwind at Natalie Lauraine’s very special Audio Hug meditation at Metrica. Nights mean live music at Can Suldat, cocktails at Lu.um, and Barbara Tucker at Glitterbox—plus swims and chill time at the Fish Shack.

The perfect summer in Ibiza starts with a sunrise swim off the wooden deck at Cala D’en Serra, followed by an espresso at the beach bar. Lunch is with salty hair and fresh grilled fish at Cala Xuclar with a paddle board around the bay. The evenings are at Juntos Farm eating incredible regenerative food and connecting with a community of like-minded thinkers. Finish with a sunset at Las Puertas de Cielos in Sant Mateu.

I prefer Ibiza in spring and autumn, but in summer I make the most of my daughter’s school holidays. We join beach clean-ups and kayak with Essencia Viva to explore the coves between Xarraca and Xuclà. We always swim after 7 p.m. when it’s cooler and quieter. Pou des Lleó is our go-to picnic spot. Evenings are for strolling through Sant Carles, letting the kids run free, or heading to the Namaste garden for local vibes, live music, and a real sense of community.

What makes my summer perfect in Ibiza? Running along the island’s west coast from Port des Torrent to Platges de Comte, with the sun on my face. Jumping into the sea at Punta Galera, just because. Watching the sunrise after a random night out I hadn’t even planned. Fixing the world over beers with lifelong friends, whether at Rita’s or El Cebo in San Antonio. Long, slow Sunday lunches with family at Tropicana. It’s the unexpected moments, the familiar places, and the people that make this island feel like more than a summer, it’s a feeling I carry all year long…

My Ibiza summers are shaped by soulful rituals. A microdose hike that ends in the ocean reminds me how nature heals. DJing at a villa with my favorite island souls brings deep joy and connection. Juicy nights at the tantra temple open doors to intimacy. I treasure life-changing talks with strangers who feel like old friends. And when the island’s energy overwhelms, I take a quiet week away to rest and reset. These aren’t just activities— they keep me aligned in Ibiza’s beautiful madness.

Summers on Ibiza are for: Watermelon! Ibizan watermelons are sweet, juicy and delicious, just like the island itself. Spending the day at Cala Llenya, chilling in the sea, stopping for ice cream at Viccio in Sant Carles on the way back… then driving home with OpenLab radio and the golden light of the setting sun on the mountains… pure pleasure.

My Ibiza summer is slow and sacred. I rise early and head to Aigües Blanques for sunrise—just me, the sea, and stillness. A quiet meditation, then a dip before the world wakes. I love the feeling of coming home after a day on the beach or a boat— sun-kissed, salty, and soft, showered and stretched out on my bed. Evenings mean a gentle stroll and dinner under the stars at La Oliva in the old town. And if I’m lucky, a full moon ride through the forest—just me and the horse, the moonlight, and the magic.

“Hey, we’re going to Ibiza!” But not for the crowds—my kind of summer is all soul and spontaneity. Joyful Sunday boogies at Sant Joan market, barefoot bliss at Ecstatic Dance, and local beats at es Birra. I satisfy my sweet tooth at Chez Bibi’s and dine at Chiricana, where I’m transported to a Thai beach. The North’s hidden calas invite cheeky skinny dips. Most of all, I stay open to the magic of meeting wild, wonderful souls who remind me what it means to truly live.
