Good things come in threes, don’t they? You’re always granted three wishes from a genie. There were Three Wise Men. And the perfectly balanced meal has three courses – starter, main and dessert. The people at Amante know this well. And that’s why, should you ever find yourself in this incredible spot nestled in the cliffs of Sol d’en Serra, you’re guaranteed some of the most delicious dishes on the island. Your only problem is one of choice.
Just how do you pick between finely sliced raw beetroot filled with cream cheese and pine nuts with a lime and agave dressing, and the speciality monkfish and prawn croquettes in parsley sauce? Once you’ve solved that dilemma, your appetite whetted, you’ll then be torn between tucking into something as delicious as the savoury Amante risotto with black garlic, paired with creamy burrata cheese and crispy pistachios, and the Bluefin tuna fillet tartar, accompanied by refreshing watermelon and drizzled with kimchi vinaigrette.
Decisions, decisions. Dessert, at least, is simple, given that its exceptional cheesecake makes the best end to any meal. Unless, of course, you swing for the chocolate with red fruit. Perhaps the only solution is to make three visits to Amante to be sure you don’t miss out on anything!
