American DJs imagine what an Ibiza passport stamp would look like

In a summer of huge American presence, we asked some of the biggest U.S. DJs on the planet to imagine the mark Ibiza would leave on your passport. Things got poetic. Things got weird. They gave us metaphors, memories, soul talk, and at least one imaginary chocolate factory. And of course, someone said ‘Adult Disney…

‘Dance Music’s International Melting Pot’- I see Ibiza as the only true hub in the world where you’ll find people from every continent in the world uniquely compacted and connected. I experience a multitude of different nationalities, languages, cultures, and ethnicities every week I am on the island for my residency at Chinois.

‘Entered Another Dimension’. For us, Ibiza has always felt like a portal, but not just to a place to party; the energy, the history, the music… it’s a world all of its own. The island is about connection, transformation and letting go. That’s the spirit we try to channel through SAGA every week. That’s what makes this island so timeless… it leaves a mark on your soul, not just your passport.

‘Adult Disney World – Love and debauchery’. A hedonistic contradiction. If ampersand were a place. The difference between shadow and substance. What you’d get if Willy Wonka made music instead of chocolate.

“If Ibiza had a passport stamp, it would be a vinyl record over the sea at sunrise. It captures the island’s spirit perfectly, where music, nature, and unforgettable moments all come together in harmony.”

‘Welcome to Paradise’…. because Ibiza is the clubbing Mecca of the world. The moment that you land in Ibiza you know that you are in paradise. I’ve been going to Ibiza for 31 years now and every time that I land and walk out of the airport it still feels like the first time. There’s no other place in the world that feels like Ibiza.

‘Island Meets Planet Rhythm’ – because what happens on the island ripples into the universal rhythm. For me, it’s where Detroit soul touches Balearic spirit. Planet Rhythm is that collision, pure energy, a passport to paradise where techno breathes freely under the sun.

A smiley face. This stamp means you’ve just arrived, not just at the island, but at the epicentre of global club culture. That little smiley face isn’t just the ink, it’s your official invite. It’s a nod from the universe saying ‘Welcome to Ibiza. Let’s go!’ Real house heads know, it’s a state of mind. This is the Ibiza vibe.

‘Welcome to the place where magic is made with music and the waves of the Mediterranean sea carry you to your dreams’. Music creates magic here and everything is possible when you sync with the rhythm of the island, carried by the ocean that surrounds it.

Which just go to show…spend enough time on this hectic island and your mind goes into overdrive…
