This famous slice of the island has created unforgettable experiences for generations of global travellers. Watching the sunset – arguably the most beautiful in the world – and connecting with like-minded people, sound-tracked by Café del Mar’s atmospheric tunes is a feeling that cannot be described, only shared. The sunset lounge now has 11 outposts around the world, including Malta and Phuket. Since their inception, the masterfully curated compilations of chill-out and ambient music have featured the likes of Moby, Sasha, Bonobo, Underworld and Nightmares on Wax, and have sold a staggering seven million albums worldwide.
The Ultimate Sunset Drink
After 42 years of evolution, Café del Mar continues to innovate, launching its first-ever collection of premium spirits. The Premium Distilled Sunset Gin showcases a unique and delicate blend of juniper, fresh citrus and a hint of sweet spice while the Premium Distilled Sunset Vodka is smooth and drinkable, both perfect in cocktails or served straight, over ice. The bottle design was inspired by the work of artist Lluís Güell, who came to the island in 1978 and channelled his creativity into the design of Café del Mar. His spectacular use of colour, form and Art Nouveau motifs are still enjoyed today. Created in partnership with Essential Drinks and our award-winning distillery partner, the brand-new drinks offering brings a memorable taste to a memorable place.

Café del Mar Spirits is passionate about giving back to the island that has given us so much. A portion of the profits from every bottle sold is donated directly to IbizaPreservation, supporting its work on the conservation and regeneration of the ocean through its Posidonia Protection Project. This exciting partnership aims to raise awareness about our overexploited seas and to raise funds to protect Ibiza and Formentera’s unique marine ecosystem, ensuring everyone can enjoy the crystal-clear water and magical sunsets for generations to come. Our packaging uses recycled glass, compostable seals, and sustainably sourced natural cork to help achieve happier oceans. Available online and in Café del Mar Ibiza from August 2022.
