Nativ spoke to Lorena Levy who, with her husband Gabriel Olivera and daughter Zoe manage to succesfully run ecological farm Can Zol, well-established real estate company Ibiza Agents, and architecture, materials and design study Go Plus.
What was your original vision for Can Zol?
We wanted to create a place where nature, community, beauty, music, and well-being could coexist harmoniously. Many people tell us that upon arrival they feel an immediate sense of calm. It’s a space that invites you to slow down, breathe more deeply.
Why is Ibiza the perfect home for a project focused on “slowing down”?
Because the real Ibiza has always been so much more than just partying. When we arrived on the island more than 25 years ago, we fell in love with a different Ibiza: the Ibiza of skys, fields, small producers, artists, human encounters, and a feeling of freedom.
How do the architecture and farm complement your family philosophy?
The architecture, the natural materials, the open spaces, the gardens, and the vegetable patch itself are all part of an experience that invites you to be present. As a family, we believe that well-being stems from simple things: contact with nature, good food, authentic human relationships, and shared time.
How do you successfully manage the boundaries between family life, business, and wellness without them clashing?
We continue to learn every day. Can Zol isn’t just our work. It’s also our home, our family project, and an expression of our values. Rather than completely separating each area, we try to live them all in a coherent way.

How do you, Zoe, and Gabriel challenge each other creatively?
Each of us brings a very different energy. Gabriel brings the practical vision, the ability to build and bring ideas to life. I bring the human, emotional, and relational dimension. And Zoe brings something that can’t be taught: a fresh, free, and profoundly creative perspective. She constantly reminds us of the importance of curiosity, play, and imagination.
Can you share a specific project on the farm that highlights Zoe as a creative driving force?
On the day she arrived at this place, something happened. After exploring, she asked, “Can we stay here for the night?” That simple question changed everything. In that instant, we felt she had perceived something we also sensed: that this land had a soul.
Does your psychological expertise shape the overall emotional layer of the finca?
My work as a Gestalt and Transpersonal Therapist has taught me that people need spaces where they can feel safe, heard and genuinely welcomed. Spaces where they do not have to perform, achieve or prove anything, but can simply be themselves. This perspective is present in everything we do.

What is your core philosophy for welcoming guests?
We like to welcome people as we would welcome friends into our own home. We don’t aim to offer an experience based on traditional luxury or exclusivity. We deeply believe in the value of sharing a meal, a conversation, a story, or a walk around the estate.
How did creating Can Zol inspire Go Plus, and how does it act as a practical bridge for others seeking this lifestyle?
Creating Can Zol taught us that what many people are truly looking for is not simply a home, but a sense of belonging. That understanding naturally inspired Go Plus, and together with Ibiza Agents, allows us to help people not only find a house, but also connect with the island, the community and a way of life that feels genuinely theirs. At the heart of it all is the same intention: helping people put down roots and find their place — in the world and within themselves.
