If you’re looking for magical spots to clear your mind and meditate in the most stunning surroundings then Ibiza is the place for you. Meditation in Ibiza: five best spots.
1. The infamous cliffs of Cala D’Hort
Of course Es Vedra has to be number one – known as the third most magnetic spot in the world & the birthplace of the goddess Tanit, the view of Es Vedra from these cliffs is nothing short of spectacular. Sunsets here are pure magic as the rock silhouettes behind the sun & the morning stillness is equally special. You can totally feel the energy & go deep into your meditations at this magnetic spot. Try heading to the cliffs near the Cala D’Hort car park or the cliffs on the path of the Torre des Savinar tower.
2. The tallest lighthouse in the Balearics: Moscatar Lighthouse
This spot is a wonderful combo of a scenic sea view walk & beautiful meditation spot. Getting to the Moscator Lighthouse is very easy from the village of Portinax, starting from the car park in the small cove of Es Portitxol. From there take the path to the right, leading you to the lighthouse along the edge of the cliff where you can breathe in deep and fill your lungs with delicious Mediterranean air before you settle into a deep meditation in one of the most northern tips of the island.
3. The rocks between Cala Llenya & Cala Nova beaches
These are two of my favourite beaches on the island, but what most people don’t know is if you walk to the right hand side of Cala Llenya beach, there is a little path that leads you on an easy walk all the way to Cala Nova. Along this walk are some beautifully scenic rocks overlooking the ocean and one of my favourite Ibiza meditation spots – its always deserted as very few people know about it and in winter you can see the sun rise right up from the sea and on full moon nights, you can watch the full moon rising – perfect for full moon meditations.
4. Torre de Ses Portes, meditating with Formentera views
Another gentle walk heading north from Ses Salinas, you will amble past beautiful coves until you get to the Torre de Ses Portes which divides the beaches of Es Cavallet & Ses Salinas. This is a tranquil spot full of pines, junipers & scrubland with views of Formentera across the sea as well as the islets of Ses Freus. Close your eyes and listen to the sounds of the ocean as you go deep inside. On the way back, you can add in a little dip in one of the secluded coves.
5. Ibiza’s Stonehenge: Time & Space
Created by famous Australian artist Andrew Rogers, Time & Space is a breathtaking monument of 13 huge stones placed above the cliffs with a direct viewpoint to Es Vedra. Close by you will also find two beautiful old door frames with stunning nature views through them. At sunset this is a breathtaking spot to take in the views, sit down & connect to your inner world in deep meditation, breathing in Ibiza’s magic. Unmissable.
