In an island famous for its nightlife, O Beach Ibiza has redefined what it means to celebrate. Fourteen years after opening, this iconic daytime venue has become much more than a place to party — it’s a lifestyle brand built on joy, community and responsibility. Founders Tony Truman and Duane Lineker share how O Beach blends unforgettable experiences with a genuine commitment to the place they call home.

O Beach is now 14 years old — how did the idea come about, and how has it evolved over time?
Tony: When we opened in 2012, daytime partying wasn’t really a thing on the island. We saw a gap — a space where people could enjoy music, sunshine, and energy in a more open, sociable environment. Over time, we’ve grown into a full lifestyle brand, with international recognition, an incredible team behind us, and a community of guests who return year after year.
On an island where parties keep pushing boundaries, what makes O Beach truly special?
Duane: O Beach it’s about how we make people feel. We put a huge amount of energy into creating an atmosphere that’s uplifting, inclusive, and consistently high quality. We focus on the details: from the service to the design, to the vibe our staff and performers bring every day. People come here to celebrate birthdays, love, friendship, life — and we never forget that we’re part of those memories.
One of O Beach’s defining traits is how it looks after both clients and staff — how do you achieve that daily?
T: It starts with respect. We treat our team like family, and in turn, they treat our guests with the same care and warmth. Many of our staff have been with us for years — they know the brand, the values, and the standard we want to maintain. We also put a lot of effort into training, wellbeing, and creating a positive work environment. A happy team creates happy guests. It’s that simple.
Beyond the parties, you’ve also launched social and environmental initiatives — can you tell us more about them?
D: We’re proud to support several local initiatives, including plastic reduction campaigns and beach clean-ups. We also collaborate with charities and community projects both on and off the island. One of our main goals is to use our platform to give back — whether that’s raising awareness, donating resources, or simply offering support. As a brand with influence, we know we have a responsibility to act consciously.
Why is it so important for you to take care of Ibiza?
D: Ibiza has given us everything. So taking care of the island isn’t just important, it’s personal. We want to see it thrive, not just for our guests today, but for generations to come. Sustainability, respect, and contribution are part of our long-term vision. At the end of the day, we’re guests here too — and it’s our duty to protect the magic that makes this island what it is.
