A place that smiles back

Sa Caleta is more than just a restaurant – it’s a source of happiness. Here’s why.

Some places connect with you effortlessly. Sa Caleta is one of them. Perched above the cove of the same name – Es Bol Nou to the locals – this family-run restaurant has been a gathering spot for more than three decades for those who want to eat well, feel even better and truly experience the island. Sa Caleta brings together many things that spark joy – here are just a few.

A breakfast that welcomes the day.

Starting at 9:30am, Sa Caleta opens its terrace to those looking to start the day on the right foot. The new breakfast service makes it easy – fresh seasonal fruit, just-baked bread, top-quality coffee and the energy of the sea.

Produce that brings joy.

Rice dishes, seafood, fish and traditional Ibizan recipes – like bullit de peix or lobster stew – are prepared the way they’ve always been. The menu changes with the seasons but always starts with the best ingredients. Honest cooking that comforts.

Service that cares.

At Sa Caleta, the service is warm, attentive and professional. The mostly local team has years of experience and knows how to make you feel at home. It’s the kind of care that makes you want to come back again and again.

A garden that soothes.

In addition to the main dining area, Sa Caleta offers a more tucked-away space among trees and natural shade: Es Jardí. A quiet corner where conversation softens and time slows down. Perfect for a vermouth, a drink or a long, leisurely post-prandial chat.

A view that embraces you.

The terrace overlooks a cove framed by red cliffs, crystal-clear waters and native vegetation that still reflects the original Ibizan landscape. Eating here means sitting face to face with the Mediterranean, surrounded by the sounds of the sea and an open horizon.

A place open to culture.

Sa Caleta is also a restaurant that celebrates culture, with an inspiring calendar of exhibitions and workshops, and the chance to visit the nearby Phoenician settlement of Sa Caleta, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
