Ibiza could be described as a series of stunning images – of landscapes, people, and even energies. It is one of the most photogenic and photographed islands in the world, and that’s why it deserved a photography festival like Sant Josep és Foto. This brand-new event held its first edition last April and proved to be an essential cultural meeting point for those who share a passion for the image.
Renowned photographers
Notable names such as Sofía Moro, known for her socially engaged lens; Pepe Cañabate, with his deep connection to the island; and Anna Devís and Daniel Rueda, offering their playful, minimalist vision of the world, were all present at Sant Josep.

Live music captured through the lens of Francesc Fàbregas, the soulful travel photography of Joana Dueñas and the visual universe of Pepe Cañabate were some of the exhibits that captivated and surely left a lasting impression on festivalgoers.

The photography conference served as a space to reflect on the present and future of the art through screenings and talks by professionals such as Carlos Spottorno, Fran Cea and Juanjo Alfonso. It was the perfect occasion to connect with other photographers at the festival’s social event, that also featured live music and Ibizan cuisine.

This photo marathon, which was open to the public, encouraged everyone to take an active role – hitting the streets with camera in hand and sharing their unique perspectives. If the festival showed one thing, it’s that photography unites, connects and transform.
