Oscar Wilde said “Hear no evil, speak no evil and you won’t be invited to cocktail parties.” Well, we don’t think you need to be a fan of idle gossip to enjoy a really great cocktail. All you need is a beautiful setting, some friends and a good mixologist. Just outside San Antonio, you’ll find the charming secluded farmhouse with alfresco dining and garden which is home to Tapas Ibiza, where, alongside their outstanding tapas, they know how to mix a mean cocktail. In the interests of research (and making ourselves feel good) we went along and sampled the entire cocktail menu in one afternoon. We can say with confidence that ALL were outstanding, and of course they offer all the classics. But three of their original mixes really stood out and demanded to be heard:
The Pirates’ Friend
Do you know what you get when you mix Havana 5 spiced rum, honey and cinnamon syrup and grapefruit juice? Good times, that is what you get.

Feeling Chilli
There is nothing bad about a cocktail with a chilli kick, and this solid winner made with El Jimador tequila, Ancho Reyes Verde chilli liquor and pineapple and lime is always welcome.

The Eastside
Yes, non-drinkers can have fun and delicious drinks too: it is 2023! The Eastside is an alcohol-free twist on a classic gin cocktail, with lime cucumber and mint. Lush.
