Many say the 1970s was a golden age in Ibiza. The beaches and roads were not yet hugely crowded but visitors were coming from all over the world. Nightclubs were springing up, and the island was a haven of peace. Bob Marley, Joni Mitchell, Thin Lizzy, Eric Clapton – all came to enjoy the white isle. Here we see a group of locals and hippies chilling out on the steps in Ibiza Town. Josep Soler Soler, who took the photograph, shot dozens of amazing images throughout the decade – a window into another world, another age.
