From Amsterdam to Berlin, from Manchester to Ibiza, The Butcher’s high-end take on the classic burger has been dazzling aficionados for 10 years now. But which one should you choose? We are here to help!
1. Benedict
The best Benedict by far since Cumberbatch. A sublime twist on the classic eggs Benedict. You get prime Aberdeen Angus beef, a slice of ham, a fried egg, tomato, lettuce and onion and, of course, hollandaise sauce.
2. The Daddy
This one is designed for serious international professional burger lovers: not for the faint-hearted. Nearly 1/4kg of high-end beef perfectly complemented with Edam cheese, bacon, BBQ sauce and trimmings.
3. The Cowboy
Our favourite cowboy up until we bit into one of these humdingers was always John Wayne, but he’s been knocked right out of the saddle by this jalapeño and BBQ sauce-slathered beautiful hunk of prime burger.
4. The Ugly
It’s a bit unfair to label this avocado, jalapeño, sour cream and BBQ burger Ugly – we’d call it Good, definitely not Bad. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, or in this case, eater. It comes in a clever sauce-catching bun, too.
5. The Bun-less
How, we hear you cry in anguish, can you have a burger without a bun? Easy: simply slot together your patty, tomato, lettuce, grilled onion and gherkin and put a Portobello mushroom on top, that’s how. Then open mouth and consume.
6. The Butcher with Cheese
The combination of meat and cheese has been with us since cheese was invented over 10,000 years ago – meat had been invented two million years previously – but never has it worked as well as this. Perfection in a bun.
