However, as I’ve grown older – and particularly after the profound experiences of the pandemic – my understanding of what constitutes true luxury, has shifted dramatically.
Living on Ibiza has given me a life of immense privileges; not through the extravagance of material possessions, but through the richness of incredible experiences. Here, on this beautiful island, everything I need is close by. This proximity to nature, community and daily essentials simply epitomizes a luxury that money cannot buy. It’s a feeling of deep contentment and fulfilment that comes from living a balanced and connected life.
Having spent time in different parts of the world, from my homeland Syria to various destinations abroad, I’ve enjoyed many luxurious moments. Yet nothing compares to the serene luxury I’ve found here on Ibiza. The island’s charm lies not just in its stunning landscapes and vibrant culture, but in its simplicity and tranquillity.
